Koh Chun Peng

  Heading the Group’s business development activities, Koh Chun Peng develops new prospective clients in Singapore and globally, and matures prospects to clients for the Group. He joined Rotary in August 2007, and he is concurrently overseeing the group’s business in China as General Manager. He runs Rotary Engineering (Shanghai) Ltd and Rotary Engineering (Dalian) Ltd. Chun Peng brings with him business and market development expertise, and almost ten years of China business experience.
A former government scholar, he held managerial positions in Singapore government’s overseas investment promotion arm, IE Singapore. He has also professional experience in strategy consulting. He holds a MSc (Management) and BBA (Hons) from the National University of Singapore, a Chinese Language Proficiency Certificate from Beijing University, and has attended an Executive Programme for senior government officials jointly conducted by Beijing University and Fudan University.

  Marc Rathbone specialises in energy and infrastructure, including, oil and gas, LNG, petrochemicals and mining projects. Marc graduated with LLB (Honours) from the University of London. Marc is based in our Singapore office and has extensive experience throughout Australia and Asia. Marc has recently returned from a long term secondment in Vietnam, working in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

  Cor Swart, who is a MS Mechanical engineering and BS commercial Economics graduate, brings with him almost 30 years of experience in advanced application in the process industry. The first six years he was employed by ExxonMobil and was involved in the development of the first Real – time Optimisation within Exxon. After joining Invensys 25 years ago, he has developed the centre of excellence within Invensys for refinery product blending and refinery inventory management. In addition he has been for several years responsible for the advanced application solution in Europe including Advanced process control, dynamic simulation in the process industry including training simulators, real-time process optimisers, manufacturing execution systems in the process industry and maintenance / asset
management. presently he is leading the Advanced Application / Consulting Operations in Asia Pacific, ranging from business process improvement to safety related consulting services.
 
Lim Teck Beng

  Lim Teck Beng graduated from National University of Singapore with a degree in Chemical Engineering and has been working in Mitsui Elastomers Singapore Pte Ltd as an Engineer in the manufacturing Plant in Jurong Island for the past three years. As part of the Plant's effort to increase efficiency, he was involved in a project to utilise technology for predicting product properties that has helped Operations to save time. Teck Beng is honoured to be given a chance to speak at ProcessCEM Asia 2010 to share his experience on the project.

  Rajabahadur V Arcot is a member of ARC automation and enterprise teams focusing on research and consulting projects. He is responsible for leading ARC Advisory Group’s operations in India and South East Asia. He has over 35 years of manufacturing industry experience. Raja's accomplishments as a consultant cover a broad spectrum: developing automation & enterprise roadmap, technology audit & gap analysis, concept engineering and validation, operational excellence, due diligence & partner search, executive and strategy briefing, migration & manufacturing execution system strategies, market research, and others. Raja has also authored and reviewed many market research and strategy reports and insights for ARC.
Before joining ARC, Raja held concurrent positions of Business Development and Project Manager for Honeywell Hi-Spec Solutions and Marketing Manager of Power Generation for Honeywell Asia Pacific. Before joining Honeywell, he was a Business Development Advisor to Thermax, a large engineering company in India. Raja began his career at Instrumentation Ltd in India. He then held General Managerial Positions at Electronics Trade & Development Corporation, Electronics Corporation of India, and Bells Controls, a joint venture company of Invensys, then known as Foxboro.

Raja is a postgraduate from the University of Mysore in India and holds M.Sc. degree in physics. He has served on several national committees focusing on industry and technology and has numerous papers to his credit. He has been a regular contributor to Industry and Industry Association publications. He has been a speaker in numerous conferences and events in India and abroad.
 
Phan Minh Quoc Binh

  Phan Minh Quoc Binh, Director of Petrovietnam Research and Development Centre for Petroleum Processing (PVPro), has over !2 years of experience working in the field of research and development in the downstream sector. Mr Binh graduated with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with honours at Hochiminh City University of Technology in 1999 and obtained an outstanding Masters degree in the field of Energy Economics and Planning in 2004 at Asian Institute of Technology.

In addition, he has participated in many important international conferences on the subject of energy, biofuels, petrochemicals and sustainable development of Vietnam’s energy system. Last year, he was the session chairman for “Petroleum
and Production” at the 7th Asian Petroleum Technology Symposium. He also spoke at several conferences, including the 46th Coordinating Committee for Geosciences Programmes in East and Southeast Asia (CCOP), Downstream Asia Roundtable 2009 and the 2nd Annual Asia Pacific Refining Summit.
 
Martin Gough

  Martin Gough is the Managing Director and founder (1980) of Cal Gavin Limited which provides technical solutions and engineering designs to enhance performance in the process industry. Thermal processing and heat exchanger enhancement technology for use in tubular heat exchangers and reactors is of particular interest to him. Martin has authored a large number of papers on this subject, is Chairman of the Heat Transfer Society, is on the Board of directors for HTRI and organises conferences and exhibitions associated with Heat Exchange Engineering. Martin continues to lead the company’s activities in new product design, engineering solutions and research in modified flow dynamics, heat transfer enhancement and fouling reduction.
 
Dott. Gianfranco Figini

  Gianfranco Figini obtained his Doctorate degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Milan in 1959, after which he was Assistant to Prof. G. Natta in Nobel Chemistry. He also came up with new products applications development in Montecatini (Italy). From 1970 to 1974 he worked as a Technology Manager for Exxon Research Europe (Brussels) doing research, technology service and engineering. He then became the Marketing Manager of Exxon Chemical Europe, dealing with Elastomers / Thermo Elastomers in Europe, Middle East and Africa, after which he was promoted as the General Manager in Brussels in 1975.
In 1984, Gianfranco proceeded to become the Global Fine Chemicals Coordinator and the International Marketing Manager in Montedison S.p.A. Milan, where he was responsible for all affiliates and Regional Offices. The following year, he was promoted to the position of General Manager of Polymers Division. Being the professional he is he became the Executive Vice President of EniMont Elastomers (Milan) and the President and CEO EniMont Americas by the following year. Concurrently, he became the Chairman of the First EU Chamber of Commerce in the USA.

In 1992 Gianfranco became the President and CEO of EniChem coordination centre and Enichem Benelux (Brussels). Moreover, he has acted as a senior advisor to groups such as Ashland Oil and Chemicals (USA) and ITEA S.p.A. (Sofinter Group) as well as a Member of the Indaver Strategic Committee. He was the Managing Director of ITEA S.p.A. last year, and he is presently leading ITRO Ltd as their Managing Director.
